Vauxhall has introduced e-mail cover notes giving customers free seven-days insurance with new and used cars from Vauxhall retailers. Called "Phone And Go" the scheme allows buyers to drive the car away on the day of purchase. The deal is in addition to Vauxhall's free insurance offer currently available on several cars in the Astra and Corsa ranges.

"We aim to provide a great range of cars and additional services that improve the overall car-buying experience for our customers," says Andy Jones, Vauxhall's Marketing Programmes Manager. "With more than 200 participating Vauxhall retailers across the UK supporting the new seven-day motor insurance offer, we are confident that it will be a big hit with our customers and further enhance the car-buying process.

"Competitive motor insurance from Vauxhall is focused on Vauxhall cars but is available to owners of most makes and models. Vauxhall is able to compete with the major insurance providers on price and can offer different approaches to buying motor cover to suit each customer’s buying requirement via the conventional telesales route, the internet or through the dealership channel."

A 10% discount on extended insurance is available when purchasing on-line from www.vauxhall.co.uk.
