(Fri 18 Jun 10) Mike Buss is quite possibly the most remarkable man we have ever heard of. A former soldier who was discharged after a terrorist car bomb exploded twenty feet from him, he has devised an incredible series of endurance challenges for himself.
The latest (which has just started) is called Hero 100 and involves running one hundred marathons on treadmills around the country in a hundred days. His overall aim is to raise £100,000 for Help The Heroes by Christmas this year. The reason for mentioning this in a motoring magazine is that Mike is sponsored by Jeep, which will be giving away a Patriot as the top prize in a charity raffle when Hero 100 reaches its climax on September 23.
