(Wed 31 Mar 10) Full details won't be released for a while yet, but Subaru has confirmed that a Cosworth-tuned version of the Impreza will go on sale in June this year.
Compared with the WRX STI on which it's based, the Cosworth Impreza STI CS400 has 99bhp more power - a total of 395bhp, well above the output of any standard Impreza - and its 0-62mph acceleration time is 1.5 seconds quicker at 3.7 seconds. Just 75 cars will be built. Pricing has not yet been announced, but we reckon firstly that they will be very expensive, and secondly that Subaru will have no trouble selling every last one of them. |
