(Tue 25 May 10) Peugeot has introduced a new model to its 3008 SUV crossover range. It's the first 3008 to use Peugeot's 163bhp two-litre HDi turbo diesel engine, and it's available only with a six-speed automatic gearbox. Combined fuel economy is 42.8mpg and CO2 emissions are 173g/km.
The new model comes in two forms. The Sport has 17" alloy wheels, air-conditioning, rear parking sensors, cruise control, a speed limiter, height-adjustable front seats and a leather-rimmed steering wheel, and costs £21,395. The Exclusive costs £22,795, for which you get a panoramic glass sunroof, automatic headlights and wipers, a head-up display, tyre pressure sensors, a Thatcham Category 1 alarm, dual-zone climate control air-conditioning with an air quality sensor, a distance alert (warning of how close you are to the vehicle in front) and additional storage in the form of rear foot lockers. The HDi 163 Automatic goes on sale in the UK next month. |
